he Tykes & Teens Adolescent Substance
Abuse Program (ASAP) is designed to help
Pre-teens
and teenagers who are
at risk for engaging in delinquent
behaviors such as drug or
alcohol abuse or teenagers who are experiencing
difficult choices with drugs or alcohol
exposure and
use.
ASAP provides support, treatment, and
educational materials to help teens make
better choices.
The program uses Individual,
Family and Group Therapy sessions to provide
pre-teens and teenagers with
the opportunity
to work through concerns, feelings, and
challenges they are facing. Teens who have a
history of drug or alcohol use are also given random drug
screens as part of the program.
ASAP receives funding from the Children’s Services Council of Martin County and the United Way of
Martin County, which allows Martin County residents to
access services on a sliding fee scale.
