he general mental health program focuses on
treating issues such as depression, anxiety
disorder,
attention deficit disorder, divorce and a variety of other
difficulties including:
• Behavioral problems at home, school or within the community
• Grief, adjustment to parental separation, or blended family issues
• Difficulty managing anger
• Parent/child conflict
• Bullying
We use a variety of age appropriate treatment strategies including:
• Traditional “talk” therapy – allows for discussion and processing of events and emotions to gain a
better understanding of behavior and to learn new coping skills.
• Play and Art therapy –The child expresses his or herself through guided play or artwork, and issues are processed creatively through that medium.
• Psychodrama – allows individuals to explore internal conflicts by acting out their emotions and
interpersonal interactions.
