Tykes and Teens is a non-profit agency in Stuart, Florida providing mental health and substance abuse prevention and treatment services to children and adolescents. Our General Mental Health Program offers counseling for youth who are facing a variety of emotional or behavioral challenges. We also feature specialized programs that focus on specific issues such as our Family Abuse Treatment Program, the Out of School Suspension Program and the Adolescent Substance Abuse Program.

Tykes and Teen is also committed to preventing issues before they require intervention, and therefore we have recently established our Prevention Services Division.
Tykes and Teens was founded in 1996 by Jeanne P. Ralicki, ACSW, LCSW and Jeffrey S. Ralicki, ACSW, LCSW who were concerned by the lack of affordable, accessible mental health services for local children. Tykes and Teens is a state-certified Medicaid provider, accepts most insurance, and also provides services on a sliding scale fee basis, greatly reducing the cost to families seeking help.
